I agree. That's why I am advocating that people who are dissatisfied with this dlc not download it.

This is an open forum for feedback.
Feedback neither needs to be good or bad to be considered feedback.
The only people on this forum that can stop anyone from giving proper feedback would be the ones sitting by the server and it would have to be turned off in order to stop feedback.
Mods don't stop general feedback so you have no place to try and bench-mod dissatisfied customers.

As for a spreadsheet showing resources or wasted time, I have no such thing.
All I have is video play of 4 out of 5 Hammerhead missions being 3mins with no or minimal combat.

It is odd that I am the picture perfect pessimist and I am still dissapointed in the free DLC that has been offered
Except Zaeed he was fine for CN.

The missions are disappointing, true, but the content being free makes the bite hurt a lot less. I won't be stopping to play these missions right when it comes out, but in a future playthrough I'll be glad that I got it.

Beggers can't be choosers.

That may be suffice for ppl like us who's been obsessing over the game for far too long anyway. But then again nothing will satisfy fans like us.

You have to understand some ppl actually paid USD$15 for this. What do they get? 2 weapons, an armor and this?

Being free doesn't free the content from criticism.

The people that paid $15 for the CN need to realize that they paid that money as a sacrifice for buying used.

Edit:The incessant nonsense and bend over attitudes from some people.

Sacrifice?
I am not even sure what the hell you mean by that.
As for your need to want to oppress people and their views; it isn't going to work all you will do it derail a topic for a bit.

Back on point. The 3min per mission is pretty low quality and deserving of a free price. If this is just a play test until the real content then I deserve compensation.

Shut the hell up. Honestly. Please.
Too many BS excuses at every turn.

Why is it a BS excuse? If people took the time to read up and realize that buying the game new would net them the CN for FREE, there would be 90% less ****ing on this forum.

And you were the one saying on this very page (no less) that this in an open forum.

An open forum for feedback on content.

Not sure how you telling people that they shouldn't offer feedback is being open.

I really do not get this. Why are they even spending time on such crap? It started with useless armor, whrere they decided not to have removable helmets and now they offer this crap? After 2 months of work? And do not tell me it is good as it is for free. MAKO in ME1 was also for free and it was 1000 times better. I am sorry, but Mass Effect 2 is a dead game for me now. I was hoping for some nice new missions to fill in all that empty space and all they can come with are 5 three minutes missions? I is more than lame.

The fact of the matter is that the DLC is not free, it came as part of the product, nowhere have I seen the Cerberus Network described officially as free. I paid money for this product, I expect quality content. If the missions really are 3 minutes long on average that is absolutely unacceptable, and just goes to show how little effort Bioware is putting into Mass Effect 2 and it's DLC. Other examples being the Armor we received which was frankly insult because it didn't include any sort of function to remove the helmet during dialogue, this in a game in which other characters interact with Shepards' face several times. That's just sloppy.

It's probably because this is a testing ground for future hammerhead dlc. they want to get out some basic missions and then flesh it out later.

Plus there's two missions missing from that list. The first two are obviously "small training missions" the night canyon mission with the geth is more of a "real" mission (it's cool to see one of those big sphere things from me1 again) and it obviously lasts way longer than 3 minutes. There's also apparently a Desert level from the GTTV trailer, and a more action packed base volcano level.

Canyon/Snow levels = training levels to get used to the hammerhead
Desert/Volcano/Mining Site levels = real missions that take a little longer and probably involve getting in and out of the vehicle

I mean it's not like this is the ONLY hammerhead dlc we'll be getting over the next year. It's only been two months and we already have:
Zaeed & Kasumi and thier loyalty missions (Kasumi's may be a multipart mission)
2 new heavy weapons, a shotgun, and an smg
a new armor, new casual wear, and what looks like new custom armor pieces
3 new outfits for our squadmates
2 new loyalty powers
1 new unique squadmember specific power
5 hammerhead missions
some unspecified side quests with the kasumi dlc
oh yeah and the normandy crash site

And that's in just two months. Multiply that by 6 (The average timeframe for DLC support before the team really gears up for the sequel) and that's alot of content to look forward to. (I didn't count the promotional dlc (3 helmets, 4 armors, 3 guns) but you can if you want, we might be getting more dr pepper promo items this summer? which is fine because that **** is easy as hell to secure)

but yeah like...by the time ME3 comes out, ME2 will probably have enough missions and content to COMPLETELY ECLIPSE the planetary exploration missions of the first game.

Edit: And yeah, look at how many things they're doing with the kasumi dlc.  Down the road we'll probably be getting more TOTALLY NEW PROGRAMMED style skills for those blank spots in the squadmates' abilities list, and whatever is supposed to be in shep's 8th slot.  (I hope jack gets a variant on the biotic charge, and thane gets a version of kasumi's cloak kill, maybe shep's 8th slot will be the ability to equip two squadmate powers at once, which could make a soldier devastating, or be something new altogether)

It's not exactly "free content". Access to the Cerberus Network wasn't given away, it was offered as an incentive for people to purchase the game new.

The Firewalker pack looks very dissappointing. I'm hoping that something like the Brind Down the Sky expansion for the first game will be developed. A few big stand alone missions with interesting moral choices to make would add a lot to the game. Though i think that due to the urgency of the main story, you would probably need to find a way to link them to the Collector threat.

Let's see: "Beggers can't be choosers." is not your quote but you offered comments in support of it. Such as "You're not ****ing about buying the game, you're ****ing about free content." and "The people that paid $15 for the CN need to realize that they paid that money as a sacrifice for buying used."

Whether or not someone should have done research to find out about Project $10 isn't the point. The point is there is a Poject $10 and some people will have to pay for CN.

Not really, a lot of people will be playing it after the suicide mission. Tieing it in with the Collector threat then wouldn't make sense.

It's not so much an incentive to buy the game new as it basically means that it's stupid for EA to markdown prices for used games so at least bioware still gets sales figures when people who get it used get a cerberus network card (evens out to arround full price of the game) And if you're whining about paying full price for a game then holy balls are you a total CHODE or what? :-|

Look, Bioware released a complete game, the DLC is simply add ons that you don't really need for the complete experience. You don't like paying for extra stuff on top of the released game then don't buy it.

I'm not moaning. I was happy to pay full price for Mass Effect 2 on release day. I spent about 60 hours on it and am very happy with the product. To say that the content available through the Cerberus Network is "free" is just dishonest though.

And to the guy that quoted me... i forgot that you can continue playing once you have completed the game. Maybe some kind of a stand alone mission that could act as a sort of epilogue would be nice.

The Hammerhead was meant for the game though,it's not just an orbinary dlc made after the game was released.I read an article in Game Informer a month before Me2 was out that said the "Mako's succesor" the Hammerhead was gonna be in the game, but Bioware for some reason kept it underwraps. Not until the first review for Me2 came out did I find out it was taken out.Even then it took Bioware days to announce the Hammerhead has been made dlc.I preodered this game expecting this dlc to be in it .
I paid down on a game that was not as I complete as I thought it was gonna be.Was expecting open enviroments with a good handling vehicle not this though.......Will still download as I have been waiting long enough for a vehicle for this game :bandit:.

Don't assume that just because I agree with something, it means I agree with the whole shibang.

Such as "You're not ****ing about buying the game, you're ****ing about free content."

How is this telling people they can't have opinions?

and "The people that paid $15 for the CN need to realize that they paid that money as a sacrifice for buying used."

Well, people SHOULD research things before they make financial decisions. But again, how is this telling people to shut up? All I said was that this could of prevented 90% of the ****ing.

Whether or not someone should have done research to find out about Project $10 isn't the point.

Yes, it really is the point.

The point is there is a Poject $10 and some people will have to buy for CN.

"Have to"?
