This was well worth the $40 and I'm looking forward to playing the different endings.

The new mage classes are an absolute blast. I didn't
actually upgrade any of my equipment until just before the final battle
since I was looking for +stam/mana regen for my AW/BM/BM (I keep on
average about 12 sustains up with Haste, Might and SS being the major
mana drains) but when I did it was worth it.

Respec books are great and you have early access to them so you can get your team ready from the get-go.

I did notice some annoying rate issues during the opening quest which promptly cleared up after completion as well as 2 cutsceen glitches at the end. For 20hrs of game time that is fantastic.

Rogues...wow. Really. Give them a bow and it's game over. Might need to be tuned down just a tad bit.

Runecrafting seems really interesting. When I go back to do the second ending I'm going to sit down and really get into it.

The party chat system was ok. I didn't love it or hate it. It worked for the game.

Members were interesting as usual and the choices you make have a large impact on how Awakening plays out.

This was an excellent follow-up to DA:O that gives the player  a new perspective of the game world while still letting them get it on with some darkspawn.

What I would like to see for future installments is a nightmare scaling option, say, a slider where you can increase your nightmare mobs difficulty by incriments of 25%. Keeping the standard casual - nightmare with the ability to crank up nightmare as needed if you really start face rolling critters  This would really let a player tailor the game to their desired difficulty level as well as to the character they are playing.

Hopefully we will be able to to pull our PC into future games.

My biggest disappointment has to be the level cap. I knew there was a cap but I wasn't sure if it was going to be a hard cap.I hit it well before the final boss battle and I know I could have knocked out 1 more level. (I didn't need it but I would have liked to have got my HP to 720 just because.)

Danzig - Mother keeps popping into my head when thinking about the story.
