I have experienced an issue in which I have given certain gifts to characters in Awakenings, and their approval has suddenly jumped anywhere from +60 to +100 points.  However, their status remains neutral, and they do not gain the "plot skills" such as Massive COnstitution, or what have you.

Is there a way to fix this bug in-game?  It has been repeatable to the point that simply going back and reloading does not work, nor does restarting the entire module (which was a hassle, being nearly half done...).

Please assist.
