I was curious as to if it's worth Doing some gambling on the Quasar(sp?)?
I just finished the quest for it, and was wondering if it was still worth doing after it?

Wanted to grab some upgrades before I left the citadel(This is my second play through on a New character, So I'm broke!) and was just curious as if the gambling was profitable? Never did it on my first character.

The amount of time playing quasar is astronomical versus finding minerals on a random planet. I never bothered.

Since you can get upgrade pretty cheap when you are just starting out, you could invest 20 minutes in quazar to buy a couple. But once things start to cost 1000 or more, it's just a waste of time. Beside, credits come pretty easily after a while.

If you're willing to do it another way to get the credits for upgrade is to complete the Dr. Michelle is being blackmailed quest, she will then buy for a higher value. You can then go to a different merchant on the citadel (I usually use the volus in the upper market) and buy back your stuff. Then go back to Dr Michelle and sell again. Repeat until you have as much money as you want. It helps to buy some of the higher quality items and buy and sell them a few times (It speeds up the process). You can get some pretty good items early on like a medical exo VIII and 2 full sets of spectre VII guns, as well as extra grenade and medigel capacity. It will take around an 1 1/2 hours to get enough credits to buy pretty much all the good stuff available. The best gambling yield is only 200 cr.

Definitely not worth bothering at Quasar. You make far more money doing what the Grey Ranger suggested with the doctor. and yeah, after a while money is just ridiculously easy to make. it's just the first few levels that hurt.

Yep.  You can get the quest, I think, the third time you visit.  The second she'll thank you for saving her.  The third she should be talking to someone, about needing the supplies for her clinic.  This can end up with you fighting a krogan so, a save is possibly in order before hand.

http://masseffect.wi...:_Doctor_Michel  Note that this contains quest spoilers.

Yeesh, I know I skiped some planets and side quests, but there seems to be quests I didn't even notice before.

I must learn to wiki!

Yes, the mass effect wiki is your friend if you're looking for help with quests builds or pretty much anything to do with the game.

Maybe I missed it, but was I suppose to sell my stuff to him first or the items I sell her spawn at his menu?

Also, I notice the wiki says I needed to be a spectre to return, I was not one yet when I went to her.

Although I did turn in the evidence and such, Just havn't headed to the council meeting yet :o

You sell to her, then you buy back from him. There are three options at a merchant buy, sell, buy back. The buy back has a certain number of items you sold that you can repurchase for the price that the merchant would have paid you for them. Since the good dr buys for a higher value you can exploit this by going to a different merchant to repurchase the item. You will pay less to get it back than she paid you.  The buyback list is the same for every merchant.

So say you sold a gun to the dr.  It would show up in Expat's (volus) or Morlan's(salerian) buy back list.
