Well I think Kasumi is worth the $7 because you get a character you can use for the whole entire game from the time you recruit her, a loyalty mission, a new SMG, a casual outfit to wear on the Normady, dialogue in the manner of Zaeed, and an achievement. Plus you can use her in the rest of your future playtrhroughs also.

As for MW2 map packs I saw them on Youtube and one of them is a terrible mess. The one with the swimming pool is some huge map that is like a giant maze and you can't even choose right now what kind of mode you want to be in. The only good thing is that they filtered out the DLC maps from the regular maps. Unlike stupid CoD:W@W which mixes them and if you don't have the DLC kicks you out of the lobby when the match is about to begin.


Edit: I forgot you can also get her loyalty skill to for future playthroughs which is pretty cool. I think for all you get its worth the value in the end but to others it may not be.

What really annoys me about that map pack is that two of those maps aren't even new, they're just ports from the first game. So why am I paying more for this pack even though it's had less work done on it? Thats ignoring the DLC launch fiasco. Infinity Ward are getting right on my nipples lately. As for Kasumi I don't mind paying that price for a story companion, it seems reasonable to me.

I figure that although you do get a lasting effect in the game, it doesn't necessarily give you a feeling of 'new' for very much longer than the hour.



I could be wrong, though, so I'll wait for feedback.

just 4:30 pm on the 31st where I am and BioWare hasn't practiced midnight releases for their DLCs either....that puts me not much under 6 days left.

Looks like some good stuff. I'm very excited. I hope the keep the DLC coming, and maybe a whole Awakening size expansion! Although if ME3's coming as soon as next year, there may not be enough time.

I've effectively paused my adept playthrough while I wait.  I couldn't care less about Kasumi, but a new SMG would be nice.

Everyone else has one, so I would guess she would have an alternate outfit.  More than two outfits, I would guess it would be included in an alternate appearance pack you would be charged for.

Don´t expect anything besides a recolor like they did with Zaeed.

Everyone gets a recoloured loyalty outfit. Don't single out Zaeed here. Any new textures would be in the Alternate Appearence Packs like for Garrus, Thane and Jack.

What skill level are we talking here... An hour of extra gameplay on Easy, or an hour of extra gameplay on insane.. Honestly, im tired of buying DLC that is totally not worth it.. Oblivion and Fallout have the best DLC by far out of any game, lets see if ME2 can beat em.. We waited months for Firewalker, tbh it kinda sucked, I beat it in about 20 mins... I know I know, it was free, but still, dont hype **** up unles it adds an enormous amount of replay value..
