Apparently the freezing problem at the "please wait" screen has been fixed already, but I just got the game yesterday and my system locks up at this screen every time. I am running XP, my system is more than capable (I just ran DAO on full and had no problems whatsoever) and I have reinstalled the game twice. I didn't have to make any special firewall arrangements when I played DAO, but could this be the issue? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
