By non-essential I mean that they do not have a big presence throughout the whole story.

I would have to say my 2 favorite characters are Barla Von and Captain Kirrahe. Barla Von seems like the only Volus who isn't retarded and Captain Kirrahe is just a boss.

I've always liked Lorik Qui'in. Man, would I love to see what Synthetic Insights have managed with their AI research.

I liked that crazy guy in the sewers of Zhu's Hope, who had the Thorian messing with his mind, he was so funny ^^ And afterwards when he got sane, he was nice.

I was going to say Captain Anderson, but then I realised he probably counted as a 'major character'.



Ian from Feros was definitely a memorable character, as was Charles Saracino. I just loved seeing my squadmate's reactions to him. "Were you at Shanxi? If not, shut your pie hole!"

Definitely Lorik. The casual request to keep the bloodstains off the carpet is classic.

Lorik was great. I loved his VA. Although he was rather laid back I always got the sense he wasn't someone you wanted to **** with.



Giavana Parasini was great.

To be honest, Captain Kirrahe had a larger role in ME1 than Wrex, so I don't know about classifying him as "non-essential."

That said, I also really liked Barla Von. I liked Navigator Pressly, too.

How? I'm talking about how essential they are to the game itself not the mission of stopping Saren. Wrex plays a much bigger part in the game than Kirrahe does unless we're going to go into some backwards ass logic.
