If I have a party containing Shepard with Squad Cryo Ammo, and Jacob with Squad Incendiary, will my weapons have the bonuses of both?

No, Jacob will keep overwriting your cryo ammo with his incendiary until you give up and just settle for incendiary.

If you really wanna get frustrated try leveling up Zaeed and Grunts ammo powers like I did and watch them go nuts changing ammo powers every few seconds.

I won't be picking squad ammo for the fourth rank then. Heavy ammo for the whole squad.

I made the mistake of giving jacob squad ammo during my soldier playthru. Became really annoying with him in the party after that...

Squad ammo is cool if you are playing a class without ammo powers. For example I played an adept on my first and second play through and I never took warp ammo as my bonus power. Squad ammo worked well because it was rare I'd have 2 ammo people on my team at the same time. And even if I did I was able to switch it off on one of them, so while it was wasteful in points in those cases it was not frustrating.

the squad ammo is very effective for example this,when i played with my infiltrator i didnt want to use disruptor ammo on a praetorian so i did that somebody (doesnt remember) used squad incendary, the result: Black widow + incendary ammo = DEAD praetorian
