[Sword For Hire]

She asked me to burn Leliana, which i did and now she offers a ring to me as a gift.  I accepted the gift, but the game bugged out on all my saves and she offers the gift twice.  So i tossed one of the rings out for sanity sake and equiped it for full measure.  I ask her to talk about us and she says, lets speak about it some other time. 

My question is, did i screw over my releationship with her?  It's at 100 and never hit love, and still isn't at love.  I only slept with Morrigan.

Will things actually develop from adore status to love, even though its already at 100.  Is there more i have to do still?

Wierd. I never had to burn leliana... did you start a romance with leliana before going with morrigan ? and did you do all of morrigan quests ?

i didn't get any of Morrigan's quests... how did you get them?

Wait I guess, do some quests and she should eventually ask you to retraive a book form circle of magi, that is the first step of it.

I think that you need to retrieve Flemeth's grimoire from the Circle before she gives you the quest.

It appears that even at 100 its still just 'friendly'. If you have your dog, he is always at 100, but it still says friendly.

I'm not quite at 100 and it says Love actually.

So you might be bugged or maybe there is something else you've done or not done.

I did give her the Black Grimoire from the Circle tower and haven't romanced Leliana, but I haven't done any of the rest of the quests for her yet.

If you haven't started a romance with a character the highest you can get is Friendly even if you are at 100 approval. Once you start a romance it will become love.

Morrigan doesn't understand nor trust the notion of love. She was taught that love is a weakness. So yes, at 100% she cares very much about you but she won't call it love. To her, love is something fools throw about to get each other in bed and then its gone. Meaningless. Obviously, shes not going to jinx herself by calling what you have together "love". In many ways, she a silly little girl at heart.

Not true, if you progress her far enough, she will admit to loving you, and hating the fact.

For me I had her at 100 adore and then at some point it switches to love. But she only changes behaviour (as in asking my PC what he thinks of love and stops possibly sleeping with him etc) once I give her Flemeth's true grimoire. So best thing I can think is just progress with her personal quest(s) and the relationship with progress to love and heartbrokeness as intended

You only need to go start the Circle of Magi quest to get Morrigan's quest.. she'll only tell you about it once you find out about the state of the Circle..
