Has anyone successfully installed the tool set on Win7 x64 yet?

If so did you have to do anything special to get it to install properly?

Or did the installer just run without any errors?

I found a blog post talking about this issue here.

It would seem that the installer has the x32 bit version packaged with it not the x64 bit ones.

that used to be the case.(during the beta) you can install the toolset fine with the standard package on x64.

but it isn't just install and launch there is a few extra step required to get MSSQL and the toolset to run on windows 7. or you will endup with cannot connect to database error.

I have it installed and functional. Wasn't sure how well the old SQL would mesh with the system though so did sort of half-manual install -- started with 64-bit SQL Express 2008, set up a separate 'bwdatoolset' instance with it (which i activate only when i feel like playing with the Toolset so it doesn't eat resources otherwise) then ran the installer skipping the SQL installation and finally restored the database manually. That said you can probably skip all this hassle but it's an option if you run into trouble otherwise.
