One thing that I liked in ME was that my awards/achievements that I unlocked were persistant, meaning any new character had all the benefits of the awards. Sadly, in ME2, when I imported my second character from ME, ALL of my achievements were reset? Is this a bug or by design? I hope that it is a bug. I also miss the persistant unlocables of having to complete MOST of the campaing with a particular companion in order to unlock a specific award. Having to start all over each time does not compel me to want to try and unlock everything over and over.
ALSO, where are the spectre weapons?

There aren't any spectre weapons, it's a bug, and the companion achievements were the most horrible ones in the whole game.

I liked the companion achievements. If not for them, I would never have played subsequent play throughs with different companions. I seldom stray from what words unless I have a good reason to.

Well... didn't you pick your companions to complement your own class?
Also, I'm pretty sure it's a bug, my achievements never got reset.

Achievements in ME do no carry over into ME2, they are specific features of each particular game, if that's what your asking.

What I was saying is that after complete my first ME2 play through, I important another ME character to start again. When I did, all my achievements were reset and I have to unlock everything again with the new character. I like the ME way in that with each new character, you get bonus stats we each new play through. These same behavior MIGHT work if you only create new ME2 characters and don't import them, but I have not tested this behavior. Has anyone else noticed this?

My achievements were never re-set and I've played through on a new character, imported an ME1 character, imported a different ME1 character, ended up with 14 different Shepards, deleted all of my saves and started over from scratch.
