Just curious as to everyone's thoughts on the upcoming Hammerhead DLC. Now grnated, I will reserve my final judgement until it actually comes out and I'm able to play it, but is anyone else slightly dissapointed by it. From what I've seen, the missions (at least most of them) are very short. All of them are just shooting corridors. Also, the Hammerhead itself is just kind of wierd. It has a cannon, but all it can shoot are heat-seeking missiles. I was kind of expecting a more fleshed-out vehicle. The missiles are cool, but I was hoping to use the cannon and the possible machine gun. I guess you could say I was hoping for a more Mako-like vehicle. Granted, the Mako handled like a fat man on a unicycle, but it did feel like an APC. I'm not sure why Bioware put a cannon on the Hammerhead if it doesn't actually function like one. A mass-accelerator cannon would be much more effective than a missile in combat.
Anyone else slightly dissapointed in the Hammerhead?

I think this is a test from Bioware to see how people like the Hammerheads controls, and added these missions as test grounds, now there is one mission where you have to explore and pick up artifact (saw it on youtube) and here will be combat missions. We shall see how it works out but so far I am very impressed with the handling. The point that you can strife now and your thrusters actualy help are one ups to me.

I've always felt that the Mako was something unique that while flawed, could be built upon to make something truly great.
Then they just dropped it and gave us this. Now that I've seen it.. well it's just an arcade shooter with short, linear levels, and all the fun physics of the Mako gone.
Meh.

I had missed the makp... but the hammerheads armament is highly plasable your driving at 120 kph its a little hard to fire a cannon and a machine gun and expect to hit some thing

Just wait and see, okay?
THEN we'll rip it apart.
