I was wondering if they improved the massive-and-so gear focused to Arcane warriors or is as inexistent as in Origins. I'm crazy now as I don't know what second spec to choose as a Good-healer-caring-about-everyone player, as blood magic is forbidden by me ( not only as rp-matters, also as building the char, you know, willpower/regen vs con ), shapeshifting sucks and arcane warrior is ¿? actually ( I kind of like the idea of a paladin-like player, buffs+heals+good defense, alike the "protector" role I'm willing to keep ). I know I will be able to respec and choose the two new ones, but keeper isn't like something I like, whereas Battlemage sounds pretty cool ( both rp and building the char, as it seems to boost your mana when you get hit and might be useful, plus that 360 cone of cold).

The question is, there is massive gear with willpower-spellpower on them? I don't like gimping myself so much, tho I could do it even as Nightmare is feeling like a breeze ( I think I'll do that don't-die achievement even, haven't died once, no reload dones )

Thanks for the help! :)

you can play AW without even wearing heavy armor. But no you won't find heavy armor with mage stats unfortunately, but then again you don't really need them either. If you go AW without blood magic, you won't be casting many spells if you choose to wear the heavier armor.

I personally went arcane warrior with battlemage and bloodmage and it made me a very viable and deadly tank being that i could wear the best tanking gear sword and shield, couple that with a drain life aura that ticked for 180 on everything which kept me alive and a ranged stun i could use every 30 seconds it kinda made it very simple. sentinel armor heartwoodshield and vigilance= god mode with that setup

I ended up using the Wade's armor from Origins for the whole game because the marginal upgrades to (useful) stats on newer armor wasn't worth the fatigue penalties.

You can put some + willpower runes in your armor and it can help a lot.
