I'm playing through with subtitles off at the moment, but the dialog choices break up the "cinematic experience" quite a bit.

I suggest that for ME3, there be a toggleable option to automatically have all dialog choices automaticcally made according to a general Paragon/Renegade choice, that way all dialog interactions would flow seamlessly, and a true "cinematic experience" could be had, should you wish to do that.

Love ME1 and ME2, enjoyed both immensely :)

They should definitely add this feature, but only with the hilarious hidden condition that turning it on would transform all Paragon and Renegade choices into increasingly stupid caricatures of themselves, ultimately leading to Shepard's untimely death.

I dunno about this, but if there was a way to toggle subtitles on and off in the middle of gameplay, that'd be nice. I usually keep them on because it's hard to hear what people are saying sometimes, but other times it distracts from the scene a bit.

Being able to SAVE a playthrough to re-experience might be interesting but that might be abit extreme? plus i mean you ARE switching to regular gameplay so having gameplay in a cutscene isn't exactly taking anything away.

really, there is nothing wrong with this, as long it remains AN OPTION. otherwise, no.

Heh, i'm just joking, this can't be a serious thread can it? CAN IT? NOOOO WHAT HAVE I DONE!?!?

Anyway, the game became too much of a TPS (Third person shooter for those with limited knowledge) as it is, so hell no, i mean , HELL NO! Go play something else if you find the convo system tedious... how can this be? That's the best thing this game has!

Take care!

Yes, I am aware of everything you just said.  Do not patronize me.   If it was AN OPTION, this pleases everyone, versus limiting people to your way.  I would never use it, however, on my 7th playthrough, something like this could be helpful.

I suggested it as an option only. It should not be mandatory at all. I think it would be a great option to have. I mean, what's the point of having subtitles off if you have to stop and view conversation subtitles every 10 seconds?

Hey man i'm not patronizing anyone, i'm just messing with you (i'm in a good mood).
Anyway, you already have the option of skipping the dialogue , what's the point of role playing if you always choose the same things, i always chose a more logical approach (what seems logical at that particular time) than just all paragon or renegade, if it doesn't suit me i'll just finish the playthrough for the heck of it and start a new one,  7 playthroughs of ME 1 and i still haven't heard all possible combinations of dialogue, and that's what makes this game replayable  in the first place.
What's the point of playing it again if you're only gonna chose one extremity or the other, i actually found out more information by playing a paragade than just making paragon or renegade responses.
Take care, and think about it...

There are a few choices that aren't really paragon or renegade, how would they be handled?

Not to mention the fact that what happens with certain scenarios. If this option was active in ME2 I'd automatically romance the first person I talked to.

This thread makes baby Jesus cry blood.

Worst idea I've ever heard, sorry.
