Im trying to make a new canon shepard with a more completionist run, and with a morality sensor like mine, but its hard to make decisions while knowing it will all have variable reactions and some that may make my future harder.
Seeing into the future makes playing the present 'blind' hard :I
anyone else run into this problem?

i just got finished playing ME1 again and i found some decisions hard but it also depended on what mood i was in lol like if i made my self mad or annoyed it was much easier to make the evil decisions. so yea i know what your going threw but for me it was easier to make a evil male shepard then a female shep. you also have to have the same mind set of what you want your shep to be

Could be harder, i also found some of it to be easier, all depends on how you look at it. Like for example, my "canon" run through of ME1 i used for the transfer over to ME2, i did a Renegade run through but opted to save the council, i figured even though i was renegade, that doesnt mean letting them die is a wise move.
But then i got ME2 and played it and found out that saving the council was pointless since not only do the disavow any knowledge of the Reapers, they see me as an enemy. Even though i saved their lives. So it made the decision to go back to ME1 and let the council die an easy one.
But then i got ME2 and played it and found out that saving the council was pointless since not only do the disavow any knowledge of the Reapers, they see me as an enemy. Even though i saved their lives. So it made the decision to go back to ME1 and let the council die an easy one.

I have played ME1 twice before I've done ME2 and now I replaying ME1 again to change few things that I always couldnt force myself to do. And its funny but I still sometimes have to fight myself
to not make the same choices again

But still saving the council will make all non human vendors on citadel friendly, killing the council will make some of the aliens if not the most a bit unplesant at the best.

It's actually easier to roleplay knowing the consequences. You don't have to worry about not knowing what will happen if you choose x, so you can play that Paragade or Renegon Shepard more easily - IMO.
