I have done nothing with the files in my Mass Effect 2 directory. I'm pretty far into the game so I don't know why this would start messing up now. But basically I start Mass Effect 2, and whenever I click "Resume Game" it makes the sound when it's clicked, but it doesn't respond. It doesn't freeze or anything, it's just like I never clicked it at all.

So I go into "Load Game" and try to load a game from there, but it doesn't work. It's doing the same thing as when I click "Resume Game."

What could be the problem? I'm posting my system specs just because I saw in another thread that's what you do when you ask for tech support.

Intel Core 2 Duo @ 1.8Ghz
3GB of RAM
ATI Radeon X1650 Pro (512MB)

I know it's not the best setup for this game but it works fine if I don't try to max everything out.

As you can see, it shows I click Load Game a bunch of times. It's an autosave too. So why didn't it work?

Im having the same program, i installed the firewalker and the veteran dlc before hand but played on it just fine then did nothing else and now it wont load :S it loads my save from the first mission though which doesnt make much sense.

Same here now...

Installed the Firewalker DLC, played the first mission with the hammerhead and after I had finished the mission I had a game crash...

Since that I can't load my savegames anymore...

I need an answer please

I'm having the same problem. I've downloaded that kasumi **** and I did a quicksave on her mission. Since then the load screen keeps showing me the three saved games with pictures of a random planet on them and they won't load.

having the same issue with the arrival DLC i click resume and it makes the confirm sound but no resuming

luckily i can still load a save but bioware should still look into this

Really...in 2 years time there has not been a single response to this as to why it happens or how to fix it? I just developed the same issue and needless to say, I'm a bit pissed that I can't play my game now. What in the hell Bioware?
