piracy is one of the main reason most company's don't make games for the PC.

As if the PC is the only platform that has issues with piracy. Not only do 360 games get pirated, but most before the pc version of the crack is available. Not only that, theres a little thing called Blockbuster and other video game rental places that stop people who would have originally purchased the game from doing so. Instead of buying a game they rent it for the weekend for $5. Who profits there? Blockbuster? You cant rent a pc game.

Please if you're going to speak on this subject atleast do your research. Im so sick and tired of hearing these bull**** excuses about why devs dont want to make games for the pc. The truth is, its simply harder to make games for the pc because all the 360s and ps3s are running old hardware from 2001. If I were to say anything id say that consoles are holding back the industry not the other way around.

by watching a TV segment or documentary on someone's youtube channel, you're watching stolen content if that tv channel didn't gave permission to spread that content.



By copying a book to study, you are violating copyrights.

By giving your friend a copy of a DVD of yours, you are pirating at low level.

By buying anything second hand, you're not paying the developer-builder-artist-manufacturer the part they deserve for they product.

By watching a rented movie with a group of 15 friends on a giant TV, you're not fulfillinmg the terms of the rent, as quoted by being "rented only for private watching and not to be reproduced at public events or commercial rooms"



Of course all this doesn't equal (at least in your mind) to pirating a game, but it should serve to prove you have, even unconsciously, violated copyrights somehwere, sometime.

I haven't known a SINGLE person who hasn't done something illegal as far as copyright violation goes. From copying more than 10 pages from a book at the local library to downloading a couple of MP3s without paying for them. The fact that most of you got your panties in a twist is because some pirate hurt their feelings by pirating a video game that is made by a company they support.

But really, you only have a say in the matter if you haven't done anything illegal in your entire life as per copyright law. Otherwise you're like a cheap **** who complains that a more expensive **** earns more money.

What the hell are you going on about my dear? Selfish retard? I'm trying to pay off my student loan. Video games are hardly worth buying at the moment, and sometimes I'd rather not risk wasting money on a product that will prove disappointing. If I pirate a game and it turns out to be really good, I usually do go out and buy the actual product. Same with certain albums of music. That being said, I haven't pirated any Dragon Age games. I also have no loyalty to 'Bioware' or any other video game company. I'm not some prepubescent fan boy though, so that could be why.
