Just made a similar post in the thread. Tali threads used to be awesome, especially on the original board but since ME2 was released the quality really suffers.

Heh, maybe. I'm simply tired of having to scroll through half the page to get to topics that don't contain posts with a bunch of smilies, squeels, and "Oh my god, Garrus/Thane/Tali/etc is so hawt!" comments. I love many of the characters in this series, don't get me wrong~

Maria Caliban/Jeirt/Me.

Sadface. We started it. It kinda exploded from there.

 But at this point, shouldn't that sort of fandom be restricted to groups and their respective comments sections? Unless the topic involves character/story development....posts about "dat ass" and what not really do nothing and they clog up this message board. Just a little gripe that I have. I don't want this to become a flamewar.

It's taking up one thread. The only time it becomes more of a problem, is when people make threads like this. Now she's taking up two.

No personal offence of course, I just try to not miss oppertunities like these.

I wasn't talking about background, though, but personality, reactions, movements. Even his "not being able to show herself to someone" could even work. The person I was referencing to, but, turned out to be more selfish than our Tali, so I would say Tali is the version of "that person" while I was interested in her.

 My issue is not with the Tali character but with all the adoration threads relating to all the characters that are dominating the main page. Most of what's in these threads have little discussion.

Back on the old boards, where I led the original 20 or so of us, it was a tasteful fan following.

People starting jumping on our bandwagon, and then we started to have some real fun with it.

But now its grown to be so large even a single group can't contain it.

Tali fans need their own threads now. I don't think moving the discussions will work.

I wish I could get everyone to tone it down a little so that everyone else on the forums didn't look down on the fanbase I created.

But-

I guess its funny. Quarians are looked down upon by the galaxy.

And now, Tali fans, who love a quarian, are looked down upon by the forumites.
