*facepalm* tali is the same tali from ME1 we are not changing her alot Tali fans don'rt even want her face to be revealed I don't care if they do or not this biowares game not ours we just buy and play it they'll make tali look like what they want her to look like and your reason for not liking Tali is still blight you should like a character because they appeal to and fans wanting something shouldn't take that appeal away. most just like her personality myself includedBann Duncan wrote...

no its not not "Tali rage" I make the same agruement if someone said they didn't like wrex anymore because his large fanbase it retarded don't fanatics detemine your view of a character its ok not to like the talimancer because most us can be obssessive but to not like tali because of her obssessive fans is stupidCrimsonStout wrote...
Ah yes, 'Tali-rage'. A syndrome of utter devotion to a faceless, sickly purple girl. We have dismissed these claims.Sleepicub09 wrote...
bull**** you guys are ****ing retard for letting fanbase determine your likes of an character tali has a large fanbase so what ot makes me sick every time see someone say that they like Tali because of her fans its ****ing retarded
This post is a bit clearer so I think I understood.
It's not the fandom in and of itself that has ruined the character for me. It is what the fandom has lead to - that being the changing of the character from how she was originally portrayed. In short, I don't want BioWare changing Mass Effect to appease fan groups.
For example, I don't know if this is the case, but imagine if the original face BW had in mind for Quarians was unattractive (I'm not saying it was/is - this is just hypothetical), but when they actually do show Tali's face, they'll use a new design because they don't want to upset the Talimancers.
Do you see what I mean?
I understand what you're saying but I don't like how Tali was retconned into having loved Shep from the beginning of ME1. I wouldn't have minded it so much if they made the romance start during Tali's time on the SR-2, but when they changed the 'past' so to say, I was disappointed.
A chacun son à son goût - to each his own.
