Bhagwanx, try my solution above to replace your equipment. See if it helps.....
Thanks for the trick, but I lost my trusty Aeducan shield from Origins & my Wade's Superior dragonbone plate armor as they don't show in the debug area. Now to try naked.

At first I thought it was the Battledress of Provocateur(Leliana's Song) which was causing the problem, but it wasn't.
I had the High Regard of House Dace (Amgerrak) necklace equipped. When I put that in to my inventory instead, before entering the mines, everything worked ok. Also got necklace back from the chest by Armaas. (Using patch 1.04)
Also, look through entire inventory for you items. The Battledress of Provocateur showed up very last on main inventory screen for me, (even after gifts, etc) and not next to the other armour.

This bug is still very much alive...
It just happened to me with my warrior. I don't mind CTD every hour... But this ? A huge steaming pile of stool.
I reentered totally stripped, the entire party, not just the warden. Now I see everybody with basic clothing and absolutly nothing in my inventory. ¿ Is that a good sign ?

I am sure that the bug was triggered by one of the wear items because it was the first time I entered with that gear - my 3 previous characters were warriors (sic) and with them I had a different gear which didn't cause the bug..
So, this time I had a rogue and this was my equipment when I entered
Armor:
Helm of Honnleath (from Stone Prisoner)
Dalish Gloves (from Origins)
Trickster's Tunic (from Awakening)
Caddish Stompers (from Stone Prisoners)
-------------------
Weapons:
Warden's Companion (from Awakening)
The Rose's Thorn (from Origins)
-------------------
Accessories:
The High Regard of House Dace (from GOA)
Sash of Forbidden Secrets (from GOA)
LifeGiver (from Origins)
Key to the City (from Origins)
The bug is 100% triggered by one (or more) of these items.. I had none of them when I entered the other times...
I suspect the problem are the DLC objects from Stone Prisoners becuase they weren't supposed to be present in Awakening (they said the only transferable items were the ones from Return to Ostagar)

It is very possible that a DLC item is triggering it... Interesting...
It could be interesting if every player who encounter the bug would post the equipment he was wearing in the moment he entered, like I did in my earlier post.. Then if the bug is really triggered by some specific item(s) it shouldn't be too difficult to understand which is/are

Corruption
Wade's/Evon's
Veshaille
Aeducan Shield
Spellward
Andruil's Blessing
Lifeward
Key to the City
He woke up naked and I tried removing first all armor/weapons and then instead all accessories - still naked. What's more, Nathaniel was naked, too, and had nothing from Origins.

I'm doubting it directly relates to specific items. I imported a warrior with no DLC gear:

Ah no.. I didn't read this one.. Anyway.. there must be some specific condition that trigger the bug 'cause it's impossible that it happened only with my 4th character..

I think the bug is triggered because your "substitutes" (the darkspawn that get your gear) don't have the prerequisites to wear your equipment, so the script fails. You can get the bug with any character but it's more probable if you're an arcane warrior, since you'll be wearing equipment other mages can't wear.

This is the only blight I've found so far in this game. And it's a huge one. I just lost all of my gear dependent characters gear. thanks.

Yep, I just lost Dumant's Spine, Duncan's Sword, and the rest of my armor AND my belt on my Dual Wield Warrior. Rings & Neck carried fine...except that he's useless now against these twin dragonspawn I'm about to fight. It irritates me most that the game Auto-Saved over my other saves as I progressed and go my other characters armors.

It shouldnt - if you Quick Save or Save to a Slot, you can use the Load option to load those games. If you resume, it will load the last saved game; which could be the Auto-Save.
Unless... you save into the Auto-Save slots...

I used the command after I finished that part of the plot. I can only assume that issuing this command prematurely - before finishing the buggy quest - may break it since you cannot enter the same quest area manually.

Yep, though it is rare for it to affect anyone except the warden. Save before entering and see if anyone wakes up naked, then you'll know who to strip when you reload.theczaroftsars wrote...
So the safest solution is to unequip everybody then?
