i have the heraldry for the grey wardens and the legion of the dead i want to put them on a blank sheild i have how do i do it. i selected the chacter with the shield went over to the item in my inventory and it wont let me use.
i have the ps3 disc version if that matters. the shield is the landsmeet sheild . thanks in advance

Okay I am not going to lie here, they just lazed out with the animation:

Equip your shield- and then drink a potion xD

No seriously, go into the menu with (Left trigger for you?) and choose it like any other item. It should be in potions, and you, for some reason, drink it like a potion.

The symbol will appear on your shield.

lazy with the Heraldry, Lazy with the Manual of Focus...

You also drink the latter, just like the Potions of Respecialization in Origins.
