Never had a single problem in DA: Origins.

Now in Awakenings, my gal's gamplay shuts down every  five to ten minutes at times.  She's playing as an elven rogue.

My gameplay experiences it every couple of hours or so while playing a dwarven rogue.

I've emailed EA and have had no response to my inquiry. 

Anyone else having similar problems or have any suggestions?  Thanks for the input!

I got to the end of my game with an imported character. Had the boss fight. saw the ending epilogue and when I went to end it, it jumped back to the death scene three times. I had to abort and lost my save, so the boss is still alive a well and I must go back and kill her yet again. Let's hope the next time it ends for good, or I may have the eternal ending game. I've also had this game freeze up on me twice. Never had that happen before either. Very buggy! Were you playing a new character or one you had imported?

I experience the same problems. The game randomly shuts down without giving a proper reason or error message. I'm playing with an imported character, dual wield warrior if that would cause any problem, which I doubt. It's very annoying. I also had experience with several quest bugs where one person wouldn't respond or run away, if that would matter.

This has happened to me ever since I downloaded the latest patch, so I don't think that it's necessarily Awakening that is causing the problem. It almost always happens in the middle of a battle after I have been playing for more than an hour or so. I'm sure they know, lots of people have complained. I suspect there will be another patch released soon.

Hope I am not doomed to see the last big boss die over and over without my final game save every time. That would just be bad....

I have had the same problem with the ending scene, I got the Achievement but not my final save as it went back to the main game screen

Make sure you have no third party mods installed. The cosmetic ones seem ok, but the ones that give you new areas, i.e. Innodil's and AIS Emporium, and I'm sure ones similar to those do give you problems. Uninstall the mods and see if you still crash.
