I'm currently playing the french version of ME 1 but i bought the english
version of ME 2, would the language difference cause a problem to import
saves between games ?

I would assume that it won't since the language is only something that is affected by regional settings. This being that I'm assuming at least that you'd be able to even change the language to french while playing the english version and vice versa.
