I downloaded the core resources database (something like that) as per the suggestion in my thread here:  .

I was able to load that database yesterday, but today trying to do so crashes the toolset. Any advice?

Reinstalling the toolset has given me the files to begin with, it would appear. So maybe this is no longer a problem.
