It's odd, but some of my custom items were showing up in Awakening, some were not.

However, when I made a few tweeks to a few of them, and attempted to re-enable the custom items mod in my original Origins campaign,  I cannot for the life of me, get them to show up in game.

I haven't changed the script at all, just tweeked a few properties so they weren't quite so powerful, but now re-enabling them, and loading my game, doesn't load the items in my inventory, like it used to do.

Any ideas what could be happening?  This started after installing Awakenings.
Prior to that, 'disabling' force loading, saving, exiting, re-enabling them worked fine.  Now.... doesn't work at all.

I've tried creating a custom item, and it works fine when I load an old save from the original game, but it doesn't show up at all in Awakening. I'd very much like to know how to add custom items to Awakening...

For Awakening, items need to be set as Core Game Resources, owned by your module.

Based on other threads I've read, it seems like the script is not running, in awakenings. I can get it to work in Origins, but it doesn't seem to want to fire off in awakening. I've tried: disabling, force load, save, exit, relaunch game, enable mod in downloads, and loading the saved game.

The script just never runs.

I can even re-export without resources, do the xml exports, purge the 'toolset' folder, relaunch the game, load a save and nada..... nothing shows up.

I haven't created a distribution package, I just made a script to drop the items into inventory when loading the saved game.

Don't know if this makes a difference, but in the ADD-INS the folder shows as: customarmor, but my mod is named: my_custom_items, shows up in the downloads as 'my_custom_items".

I don't see anything named: customarmor, in any of the properties of the mod??? Not even in the script.

Re-exporting still puts it in the 'customarmor' folder in Add-In folder.

At any rate, I don't think the folder name is the issue because it works in Origins, but I could be wrong.

Did you set the UID to customarmor, by any chance? That's what the toolset uses for the directory name for the addin.

I cant get my custom mod to work either, after i updated it it just stopped working and all i did was change the appearance (Level) of some pieces of armor. So i made a new mod, followed the same guide i used or my first mod then added a single item to see what would happen and the item never showed up, ive tried loading at least two or three saves with each of my characters, using the same disable, save, enable and load idea as Mirthadrond but its not making any difference. The only reasons i can think of for this happening are awakening and my recent update to version 1.03?

Ive already tried checking the UID but it says my_custom_armor and thats the exact name of the folder in the add-ins folder. Ive checked my plot and script files but they are just as i left them.

My only explanation would be that bioware have done something to mess it up either with awakening or maybe the update (Considering all the problems with awakening im staring daggers in that direction) , unless altering armour from silverite to dragonbone counts as an extreme alteration beyond the games comprehension. Might be we just have to wait untill the toolset is updated for them to start working again but i have no idea if or when thats going to happen?

Same Problem here. Custom items dont get added to inventory in Awakening while it works fine with Origins. Module is set to Core Game Resources and Owner to the custom module, so that shouldnt be the reason.

I can only assume it has to do with the script.
