i have successfully rendered lightmaps. when i do all local posts and open an area and change area layout to my level i get the level but without any lightmaps. i have been screwing around with trying to render lightmaps in the single player module so it might be related to that.,

even when i change the layout name of my level, render lightmaps and then do all local posts in a new module the lightmap doesn't transfer from level to area.

Is your module an extension of the Single Player module?

I usually find I need to:

Quit the toolset

Delete the folder core/override/toolsetexport/<level name>

Do a local post in my module

Switch to Single Player module

Do another local post.

The changes should show up in your area properly

the first screenshot shows your level without enabled lightmap. the second screenshot is your area with enabled lightmap. your lightmap was rendered without problems because your static lights above your flares are there. your problem is the too intensive ambient light or that there are way too many lights floating around. your level just seems to be too bright. it's not a bug but your settings^^
