As this is actually a DLC I'm most looking forward to buying. I would appreciate it if the DLC bug is fixed so I can grab it on the spot. Even now, I have been unable to authorise my DLC permanently, having to log into Cerberus network everytime just to load up a savegame with DLC-content.
And when my net is down... CANT LOAD SAVEGAME. Please fix this soon.
Request: Plz fix DLC authorize bug b4 Kasumi DLC release

Internet talk like 'plz' and 'b4' are pet peeves of mine; I mean nothing serious by it.

Speaking of irony, I made a grammatical mistake there. It should be 'Internet talk like 'plz' and 'b4' are is a pet peeves of mine,' given that 'talk' is singular. In the immortal words of Sigrun, 'Ugh - fail!'

Well, you can look at it this way - my bumping the thread makes it more likely for a dev to take a look

I'm actually getting contradicting info on this, the EULA says that "For Software delivered via digital download" is a one time activation but I emailed EA and they said "We are sorry but in order access the DLC or save games that you played with the DLC, you will need to login using your EA account. If you are not able to go online, you will not be able to access those save games/DLC. We once again apologize for any disappointment this may cause to you."

Back of mind, I was suspicious that EA would pull this on us - hence a lot of silence from EA about this but Bioware is going "WTF" from what I've seen from Bioware replies on this forum. Or... it could be just EA's budget customer service.
Either way, Bioware confirmed this as a bug, and I intend to hold their word on this. What the heck is with EA thinking? They shoved an ingame salesman in DA:O which pissed me off enough not to purchase DLC... then when I want to purchase DLC with Kasumi, they impose this online-only thing for ME2. But let us hope that is considering this is definitely a bug, not an engineered ploy by EA...

What I've learned to do offline is, install the content, start the game up and let that warning thing pop up.I drop the game to the taskbar, get back online, connect via Cerburus Network then EA Online. Let it do whatever it has to do. Minimize game again, cut the connection and I'm playing the game again.
You might get a pop up saying Connection Was Lost or something like that. Just click on it and you're good to go.
That's what works for me. Hope it works for you.

The point is they don't want to have to connect to the net, nor should they have to.
Once you get steam up and running you can even run it in off line mode... It's a game for entertainment. So I want to use it to be entertained when I need it... let's say... I'm on the Train, no internet... hey let me punch up ME2... or hey life sux and internet is down for a bit, meh I'll play ME2... oh wait I can't...
If it's been purchased, and validated there is no reason for them to do this. I can't register my key on the Web site because I registered it with steam... I can't get the new free mission because there over strict "anti steal me" crap... makes me mad I purchased the game, if I would have just got a pirated copy I could down load the pirated DLC and not have a problem running it... Way to stick it to your paying supporters.... Get this fixed... and loosen up your "Key has been used" garbage for those of use trying to register on the site that got excited and didn't know better than to just register threw steam like we can for any other game

this is a huge load of crap!! i thought all i was going to have to do was simply purchase the points, purchase the Kasumi DLC, install, and bam! get to rolling, but i can't use my cerberus network code b/c the redemption site is telling me it has already been used (downloaded game through STEAM) and now i am getting this error message telling me that i can't play Kasumi (the DLC that i just purchase with MY money) b/c it can't be authorized!! anyone have any insight to why this is and how i can fix it?
