I'd personally swear vengance against EA (after all, the Bioware we know and love would never be so stupid) on the internet that spend the next few days whinning about it on the forums if this happened.
The scary thing is though, it probably is, the best way to deal with Garrus and Tali (who may have nowhere else to go depending on how their loyalty mission turns out) is to kill them...
