Hello all. Brand new to both the game and this forum. Did a search for my question but couldn't find anything.

I am just underway but am to the point that battle requires tactics and coordination. I am learning to bungle my way through the radial menu a bit, and I have set default tactics for each of my four characters. But what I need to figure out is how to set targets while paused. I've read through the manual and can't figure it out.

What I want to be able to do, much like what I used to do in the good ol' Badlur's Gate days, is pause the game, then set what target I want each party member to be attacking. I know how to scroll right between characters while fighting in real time, but this is definitely not optimal. How do I pause the game, set all targets, then unpause and unleash the attack?

Any help, or link to where this has already been answered, would be greatly appreciated.
