I am a huge fan of Bioware; I love all of their games and can not get enough of each one. And out of all of them I am most attracted to Dragon age: origins, so when I heard an expansion was coming out I had to buy it.

bad: When I first put in the game I was hit hard when I found out you could not Import your choices for your dead warden, my first play through (the one that ment the most to me) my PC had died so for them to take that away from me made me very upset. You don’t make an RPG game with choices, and then take them away. Luckily for me, all my choices were already with the Grey warden from orlai so I could continue my story like it should.

Good: I was very happy with the new powers and specs though. The new rogue powers blew me away and I loved using them, the warrior and mages powers were also very cool but im a rogue at heart. The new specs were also very cool; I loved the battle mage and the spirit warrior most. I think the rogue fell short on the spec side, even though they did get a tankish spec which I thought was very very cool.
: / ok: The new companions were ok. I liked Anders and Nathanial the most, but the other fell short. I know this was only a 20 hour expansion but the characters were not as deep as the ones in origins, Anders was at the highest approval and I knew little about him and how he felt.

Bad: The conversations.... I..... I hated them. I miss where I could just go up to them in camp and talk. I have a feeling this is what messed up the companions, you couldn’t talk to them when ever you wanted to, you had to find something to talk about.

Choices: I loved the big choices in this game. Picking if the Architect lived or died was great. Picking if you saved vigils keep or amaranthine was great. These are massive choices that could shape the rest of the games and it’s just an expansion! Picking where your guards defend is also a great choice. Even when you go to wade to make an epic weapon you have many options to pick from on how he makes it! I think the choices were what made this expansion pretty epic.
