No traitor, but telly savalas screws everything up by fliping out Mr.Blonde style.

It's Shepard

Shepard is the Reapers

No! I must kill the Reapers!
No Shepard, you are the Reapers!
And then Shepard was a Husk.

It'd be totally lame if it was Legion. Basically retconning the coolest plot twist in ME2 out of existence? No, thanks.

I completely agree. I think the traitor (if there is one) will probably have a lot to do with how shepard handles his relationship with cerberus. Work with them and maybe Ashley/kaiden is sent to "deal" with shepard. Screw them over and perhaps miranda, or zaeed tries to take shepard out.

Anyone remember Wing Commander?

Remember how in Wing Commander 2, they spent the entire game establishing that one character (Hobbes) was not a traitor?

Then in Wing Commander 3, he turns out to be a traitor. Yeah.

That's how you don't write characters. BioWare, please take notes.

The Kilrathi that defected? Yah. We all saw that coming.

No Reapers have defected yet. I think we're safe.

I don't think there will be a true traitor, but I do think somebody's getting indoctrinated before this is all over.

It's Legion. The guy said geth don't infiltrate, yet one of his skills is Geth Infiltrator. I mean he's pretty much lying right to your face.

I doubt Zaeed would have anything to do with it. He's just some merc, really. Sure they could pay him to do it, but I would not call him traitorous for that, he was just on a payroll when he helped Shep on the suicide mission. In fact I imagine he'd be half across the galaxy boozing it up with his pile of credits after he returned from the suicide mission rather than helping Shep in ME3.

Poor Hobbes. also I'd like correct that Garrus mentions his father in ME1.

The Traitor is Udina, obviously.

I can't find a reason why Tali would betray you. Miranda....eh, maybe. I honestly can't see any squadmembers pulling a judas without having to completely re-write how they interacted with Shepard. Now secondary characters....oh dear. Where to start.

Anderson is a definite possibility. I don't like it, but they have certainly put Liara and/or Kaidan/Ashley in the potential spotlight for a betrayal....I honestly think it would be a cop out to have a betrayal.

Every story has a betrayal. They aren't always well written or make sense. It seems way to cliche to me, to have a character thats close to Shepard betray him.

Why does there have to be a traitor? There a law somewhere that says we must adhere to predictable storytelling?

Actually guys, I'm fairly certain that it's Aribeth who will betray you.

Nope, it's Bastilla

I'm seeing a trend here...

No traitor, but telly savalas screws everything up by fliping out Mr.Blonde style.

Good old Maggott... might have been a dyed-in-the-wool psychopath, but he was at least an interesting character. He goes all knife-happy with some German woman, yeah?

Yeah. And the more i think aobut it the more i think Mr. Blonde is a total Maggot rip-off. That's Tarintino's style anyway.

Shepard was already killed and rezzed, so it follows that he was already betrayed.

ANDERSON IS THE TRAITOR! He sent Shepard to go fight Geth, allowing the collectors to kill him...But if Shepard is Zombie Jesus Shepard now, doesn't that make Cerberus God?

Crap, Renegades are right for once...
