Halo 3 : ODST. The game isn't bad, but 60 USD for an expansion pack with a 5 hour campaing!
Bungie could put a tuna sandwich in a box, label it Halo, and it would sell 30 millions, good that they signed a pact with the Devil, time for more milking !

The worst game I remember buying and hating is Morrowind. It was pretty, and that was all the positives I could find. After a few hours of trying really hard to like it, and not quite believing that the npcs could be THAT flat, carboard cutouts, I had had enough. If I want to go hiking in a pretty environment, I go outside, not sit at the computer.

I think a lot of people who think E.T. is the worst game ever made are not aware of just how bad things were in the game industry back in 1982. It's really easy to bash E.T. by today's standards and yes it is an awful game, but what you have to realize is that back in 1982 about 99 percent of all games were absolute garbage.
E.T. was a bad game but it was actually pretty good relative to what era it was released in. I have played games on the Atari 2600 which are far FAR worse than E.T.

Two worlds- They told me it was just like Oblivion, they could not have been more wrong.

Dead Rising-Not that bad of a game but I always pop a vein when I play it. Its so funny to listen to me play dead rising that my friends stop what they are doing just to listen to me curse the gods in 7 tounges.

Godfather 2- The first God father was great, It pisses me off that they ****ed it up this badly.

While we're on the subject of bad games released relatively recently, Sonic The Hedgehog(the 2006 game) was about as bad a game as one could possibly imagine. The loading times were a crime against humanity, the storyline was offensively stupid, and the game was so riddled with bugs and glitches that it felt like I got cheated and was playing some pirated alpha copy of the game.
Sonic The Hedgehog was forever ruined because of that game and I am one of the few people who actually liked Shadow The Hedgehog.

Also, Shaq-Fu?  Is that the best you can do?

Rise of the Robots makes Shaq Fu look like Soul Calibur,

Maybe you'll feel better after watching the Zero Punctuation Review of the game. Not exactly a glowing endorsement.

NOOOOOO! :pinched:

Been enjoying the Zero Punctuation reviews lately, and while there's no review of morrowind, he does review Oblivion - and I think he sums up pretty well what made me dislike morrowind, as it seems that oblivion has many of the same faults. Zero Punctuation: Oblivion

White Men Can't Jump the video game

Yes it is a game and yes I doubled check to make sure it was not just a bad dream of mine from over a decade ago.

And I will throw MOO3 (Masters of Orion 3) not only is it one of the worst 4x games but the biggest disapointments of the genre.

Kasumi Ninja wasn't as bad as Way of the Warrior for the 3do. I actually owned both systems.

Well, actually my older brother did but I always played it when he wasn't around.

The worst fighting game for the Jaguar though was Fight for Life.

Nah...that one rocked...Im talking about the one on 360...It had so many damn bugs and glitches that it was neigh unplayable lol.

Ah ok, you had me worried :D.
Yeah, Alone in the Dark 5 was awful... and 4... and 3... actually, any other game in that series except the first one - which was one of the best games ever. A pity.

Actually, the first one was great. I laughed a lot with that game. But that was it, the rest were awful.

god awful to play, totaly random traps and enimies meaning you die when your ps1 wants you to and there was no last level and therefor no way to complete it.lol

I am probably going to be flamed for this one but... Dragonquest VIII was the absolute worst for me. I usually get a good idea of how good or bad a game will be before I buy it (I'll research before I buy unless it is a preorder) and I know a lot of people love the DragonQuest series but... By the end it became so repetitive and monotonous that I wanted to set my PS2 on fire in the street and just watch it burn. It felt like I was playing an entire season of DBZ...which is probably another reason why it became the worst I ever played. I tell people to play that one at their own risk.

Dark Cloud (PS2) would be the second worst... I had to buy 3 copies before I got one that wasn't buggy so though the game may have been alright, the quality of its making was not.
