 Hi 

I tried to do this puzzle and finally went on to other things.

I got to a point where all I could do was turn the same flames on and off in an endless cycle with no other option to get out of it.

Now I would like to give it another try but I'm still stuck in this loop.

I don't want to go all the way back to a save before I started this, is there a way to reset the puzzle so I can start over?

it's like the brain teaser where you have to draw a house but are not allowed to cross any lines twice - it's exactly the same...

I'm not sure either of you answered the OP's question. Going backwards is not an option when you don't know what route you took int he first place. I believe he (and I, for that matter, are looking for a "rubik's cube" set of steps that would get the puzzle back to one stone for another attempt.

You might just try picking a point and then walking in the correct path.
