Hello,

To avoid spoilers, I'll try to explain this with the least text as possible. Anyways, when the player and her/his party enters a crypt in the Fade (Shadowy Crypt), after the first group of enemies the doorway onwards is blocked by an invisible object, the same kind of one seen previously in the game (I remember a few, Redcliffe cellar and Vigil's Keep as examples.).

There seems to be no way around it, and no way to continue the game to anywhere? How am I supposed to continue? Has anyone else had the same problem, and if yes, have you found a way around it?

Thanks, but the problem is that I can't get past the first room in the crypts. The doorway onwards into the crypt is blocked by an 'invisible object'.:(

This is hapening to me too. Tried "runscript zz_jump_around" but it doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas? This seems like it'll be a gamestopping bug, since it seems like you have to go through the cave to complete this area.

Sidenote: This sucks Bioware. Not the first or the second bug that I've run into. (mumbling mages map quest markers not turning off after you've completed the quest; 'Open the passage' quest not losing it's map quest marker after you've killed they guy you need to come back to b/c you side against the smugglers. My map of Amaranthine is filled with quest markers that shouldn't be there) Seems like this release should've gone through alot more QA than it did.

If someone at bioware wants my save game to diagnose the issue, I'd be happy to oblige.

I had the same ploblem. By searching myself the ploblem is caused by the advanced tactics mod. Deactiving that mod fixxed it for me.Had to use savegame from outside of there because invisable object was saved in that area.

Definitely caused by advanced tactics. Had to reload using an autosave from before you get put into the fade for the invisible wall to go away. Thanks.

Just bumping this old thread as I also had the same problem but it's from the wand upgrade mod even with the awakening version. It pops up a lot of walls in the game so I'd suggest doing all your upgrading as soon as you start a new game or wait for an update.

If you play on the pc, you can walk through it with wasd.

Bumping this thread as it helped me with this issue not 10 minutes ago. Also pointing out the the WASD thing did not work for me.

if you're having this problem because of Advanced Tactics, there's a quick / crude mod fix for the invisible objects, too.

here ya go:

Just a bit of a warning, the Upgrade Wand mod appears to make invisible objects also, and btw I found out the hard way that yes every once in a while it puts them ever so perfectly to block exits (and no WASD won't get you around them). Fortunately, the console jump forward command got me through it -- then I disabled it.

*sigh*. I have no idea why so many of these mods make invisible objects and then, even more stupidly, put them in your way.

Sorry to necro, but I'm going insane with this. Every single thread I've seen talks about freaking advance tactics, which I've never touched. Looks like it was the upgrade wand for me. Regardless of what caused it, I'm stuck with it now, and zz_jump_around says "no such script." I'm going nuts here. It's been three years with teh invisible objects issue. How on earth has no one figured out a fix for it?
