What games do you think/want bioware to launch in the future?
My personal preference would be a open world RPG set in the modern world, with two factions, and it isn't really clear who is right, so you can join either.maybe an bethesda-bioware cooperation?
games bioware will launch in the future

Seeing what Bioware would do with a modern day RPG would be pretty interesting. Hmmmm, can't really think of what I would like Bioware to do in the future since the RPGs I've enjoyed the most are the ones that have surprised me in their concepts.

the modern day rpg thing you're talking about sounds a lot like the Secret World, which is under development by Funcom, but that's an MMO.

Modern-day does sound interesting, though it depends on what context. Bet you if Bioware announced a vampire game, everyone would jump on the bandwagon. Myself, I'd love to see a sequel on Jade Empire, but I get the feeling that that was a one-time project.
I may be getting my hopes up, but are you a fellow fan/follower? And registered on the TSW site as well?SovereignSith44 wrote...

I was wondering about this. There's obviously, Dragon Age, Mass Effect 2 and 3, not to mention the Old Republic MMO, but I wonder what else they currently have planned but haven't told us yet.

I think I'd like a sequel to dragon age, the pre-game screens, and character creator etc. look very very promising. I'll have to play the game first in order to know for sure though.

I agree that a modern day rpg would be cool.

Remake of VtmB or Arcanum.
(Arcanum unlikely due to the current overcrowding of the fantasy RPG genre. But a man can hope, a man can hope...)

I have no preferences on settings and what not, as long as it's good, I'll be looking forward to ME3 and DA sequels however. Not interested in SW:TOR atm, probably going to stay that way.

Being a big fan of old wuxia films and an avid player of RPGs Jade Empire is my dream IP. Unfortunaly I wasn't a big fan of the combat gameplay but the rest was awesome.

SWTOR is a given.
Mass Effect 3 will finish up the trilogy.
Jade Empire 2 is said to be a staff favorite, thus likely to release.
A new unknown intellectual property.
I hope that Bioware will not stop making excellent single-player RPG games after SWTOR's release. Sometimes a MMO takes away all a company's focus: Blizzard for example did not make a single game except improving on WoW since its release, and Starcraft 2/Diablo 3 were only announced after merging with Activision.

They sort of got into it with the Fade a little bit in DA:O but how about an RPG that takes place entirely in a dream world. They could get really creative and make levels/plots that are completely unbelievable and juxtapose it with deceptively realistic sections. Basically I want to see the extent to which Bioware can mess with people's heads.

yeah something modern would be neat like Obsidian's Alpha Protocol coming out next year

Like I said last time, I'd favor cyberpunk or steampunk for a setting. Modern fantasy would be kind of interesting too (just plain old modern seems like it would lack something to me.)
I'd really like to see Bioware do a Shadowrun game, but sadly, someone else (I want to say Smith & Tinker or something like that) owns the Shadowrun computer license.

I would like to see them expand on Jade Empire. It was a good setting, but I think the combat can really be expanded on, and the character customization as a whole can be better. Other than that, like Vaeliorin said, Shadowrun would be cool, so maybe something along those lines.
