Does anyone have a definitive guide on what happens with the various choices, protecting the farmers/trade all 3? The only thing i have seen is that protecting all 3 seems to have no negative effect other than losing new items from merchants, but are these any good anyway?
im just about to start my second playthrough and wanted to get it right this time.

Actually defending all 3 is the best outcome of them all. I did it on my first playthrough and got the best endings and items from merchant.
