Or didn't confuse him for Alistair.
Honestly, they look the same to me.

It's not the resolution. A different resolution shouldn't change the shape of the nose, the chin, the jaw, the mouth, etc. About the only thing that's the same is his hair.
Look at the second comparison in particular. The top is the PS3, the bottom is the PC. Almost everything in his face is different. In particular his nose and his jaw. It's like he has a different skull.
Why, Bioware!!?
Your right... I see it mainly in his lips. He's got an overbite in the PC pic, obviously something that resolution wouldn't alter, only make less pronounced.

Like I said before, there are several NPC's that are different: Anders, Nathaniel, Sigrun, the Baroness, and some really minor characters. Sometimes it's just facial features, but for some they even have different hair colors and/or styles.

PC version gives him a face worthy of Duncan's hair and earring. So glad I'm a PC player.

I'd just like to know why theres any difference in the first place. It would be pretty interesting to see what the answer might be.

On PS3/360 his face just looks like the last human pre-set face....

Anders to me in the PS3 version looks like Matthias and the merchant at Sulcher's Pass.
All three voiced by the same actor

I think I can guess what happened.
On the PC, if you use certain mods, (eg whiter teeth), they work fine in the OC, but snap back faces in Awakening or DLC to a generic face, with the same hair and colouring - maybe that's it? Something that's changed there?

Hang on, this is only affecting DLC's? and (many) males?

Good theory and it makes sense, but I don't understand why it would be happening on consoles. Is it a patch, are the DLC characters actually supposed to look that way and PC is different (doubt it)? Or maybe it's BioWare laughing and pointing at console users for kicks?
Here's a picture of Sigrun I managed to take, which in my opinion looks a bit like the female bald dwarf preset. Nathaniel is also there, but from that tiny shot his facial changes may not be that noticable. http://s1035.photobu...t=PS3Sigrun.png

When I saw Anders for the first time on DA2, I couldn´t believe how different he looks - where did the shallow cheeks, the aquiline nose come from?
Now I know why, but it still doesn´t make any sense... This is a curious phenomenon.
I just can´t fathom why the characters would look different on console.
If they decided to change the facial features after the release of the game, they´d changed it for the PC version too - though that in in itself would be a strange thing to do.
