Um, expansion pack alert anyone? Or even possibly sequel alert?
Morrigan probably dropped the Warden a line. "Hey, wanna come to Orlais and stop my demon baby from destroying the world?"

I hope he at least will look for me. Maybe I ran off with Anders.
Anders is my back-up if Alistair doesn't bring down the sky trying to find me.
I think Queen Cousland always disappears alone, while mistresses and those who didn't make Alistair king disappear with him.

Anyways, I am using the 'disappearance' as a plot element in a fanfic. She is not gone for good. No way, no how.

Wait, what? When Alistair isn't king, he disappears, too? What does that mean?

"She returned to life at court, resuming her duties as queen of Ferelden and receiving a hero's welcome when she rode back into the capital. King Alistair awaited her at the palace gates, grinning from ear to ear."
The game is that buggy or was it cut from the game ? O_o

It's for an expansion pack. Ladydamodred and I have foreseen who is responsable for this
Not that it's a particularly hard guess.
I kid, I kid.

That's odd because this epilogue is in the toolset :
"She returned to life at court, resuming her duties as queen of Ferelden and receiving a hero's welcome when she rode back into the capital. King Alistair awaited her at the palace gates, grinning from ear to ear."

That's the one I got. Don't know if it makes a difference, but I told Anders I was going to return to court when it was all over. Doesn't explain why my PC disappeared by herself, though, especially if it's set up for an expansion.
Lyrium basket? That must be one of many conversations that I missed. Didn't enjoy the new system AT ALL.

Slightly off-topic, what I do wonder is if there are conversation options that dictate what your companions do in the epilogue (ie Anders returning to the Wardens or becomign apostate) or if it somehow relates to approval?

I chose something different than that, so I don't think it's tied to that particular conversation choice. I believe that is what you're get when you're the queen, no matter what you choose as a conversation option.

According to the wiki (so grain of salt and all that), some of the epilogues will only trigger with certain approvals. But obviouls what you do with them in their personal quests also matters a bunch.

There is a second slide that says "Some years later, the savior of Ferelden vanished entirely. Nobody knows for what purpose she departed, yet neither does anyone think her tale is complete..."
That's the slide you get if you have no roamance in DA:O.
Anyway ...
Let me get this straight ... The Queen, (Princess Consort, whatever), just disappears for no apparent reason? I knew the game was buggy, but damn. At least I hope that's a bug.

Yep, that's the ending I got for my Cousland who married Alistair. And why I loathed the game once I read that slide. There is nothing that could justify my character just pulling a Revan and disappearing without Alistair.

Irks me how you have to like, not be queen/make him not King (thus making it fact that you two aren't married) to disappear together..
