We're going to discover that the Reapers were actually created by [SOME GUY NAMED DYSON], and that they, in reality, are from the future, but were defeated by a distant descendant of Shepard. As such, Shepard's descendant sends back a reprogramed Reaper to go help Shepard fight the Reapers, who send their own super Reaper to stop the reprogramed Reaper...
So let me guess what's gonna happen in Mass Effect 3...

The reapers didn't create the mass relays or citadel (if they can make invincible alloys then yeah didn't they make themselves of the same stuff, hmmm?) and we will activate the citadel relay and go to the reaper base out in darkspace, which should be empty (for the most part) since they're heading to the Milky Way the old fashioned way. We get all kind of goodies, discovery all the secrets, that the reapers are all spiritual and exist consciously on a higher dimension and see our consciousness as being trapped in an animal state(that's why they ascend races into reaperhood.. for our own good), We gather an army and maybe those beings of light that volus billionaire is looking for will help too.
The end.

Choosing Wrex or Grunt for Urdnot leader is like quite literally choosing someone with over a 1000 years of experience over someone who isn't even one year old. Yea. Wrex ftwChickenaut wrote...
My theory ? Since so much squad mates in this game, then the story are about which one you pick would become your squadmate or NPC. Like perhaps choosing Wrex or grunt for perhaps next candidate for Tuchanka coronation. Whoever not to be leader became your squad mate. That or your mission squad became more larger and involved mechanized Hanar, elcor, geth armature, or cyborg thresher maw....

Harbinger: "WE ARE THE HARBINGER OF YOUR DESTRUCTION!"
Shepard: "Hey, Harbinger."
Harbinger: "WHAT?"
Shepard: "In all these millions upon millions of years you've done this, has anyone just politely asked you to go away?"
Harbinger: "WELL ACTUALLY, NO. USUALLY THEY JUST SCREAM IN TERROR."
Shepard: "Okay then. Will you Reapers please leave and never come back? Please?"
Harbinger: "......"
Shepard: "......"
Harbinger: "OH ALRIGHT THEN. SORRY ABOUT THE MESS."
Everyone: "Huzzah!"
*later*
Shepard: "I can't believe it was that easy to defeat the Reapers."
Turian Councillor: "What Reapers?"
Shepard: "Those Reapers that just went away?"
Turian Councillor: "Ah yes, 'Reapers'".
Shepard: ....... FALCON PUUUUUUUUNCH!!!!
*Turian Councillor is punched out the window and falls to his death*
Udina: This is an outrage!
The end.

The truly sad thing.... I would still pay money for ME3 if it had that ending. In fact I'd be more likely to buy it if I KNEW it had that ending.

This is great ending for ME3 in case Shepard's death in ME2.
This gonna be Joker mission. Find Reapers, bribe them or reason with them and end the cycle.

Which would be embarrassing for wrex if die because of old age. He need go with a bang, by joining shepard again. Grunt is super krogan with more than average krogan could do. He will be fine. heh, dont get over excited it just a theory.

1. Find IFF
2. Make copies and inform alliance, equipping 4-5 cruisers with them.
3. Send ships through Omega 4...
4. ???
5. Profit)
Well I wouldn't be surprised if ME3 included something as unbelievably out of place in ME as time travel.

Considering that ME2 brings in several out of place and irrelevant plot twists (The collectors were kind of pathetic in the end. One cruiser?...

Yeah, so, seeing as how I destroyed the Collector base, and with it the mass effect field that keeps everything going through the Omega-4 relay from dying a horrible death in the galactic core, I feel pretty safe replacing the "???" in step 4 with "spaghettification". Not sure how that leads to profit.

I have very big doubts ME3 will go down like this but you never know. The way we have things stacked up against us for ME3 (seriously - how many frakkin reapers are there in the closing shot...*shudders*) having a Reaper with a conscience that decides to help us out would not completely surprise me.
