Alright, I saved the Galaxy in 14 hours and now I'm a level 37 Soldier, is there any way to load my save so I don't fight Saren? Everytime I try to load my save if takes me to the Saren boss fight, any way to fix this? Also, is it possible to import ME1 save files to a new game of ME1? Also what happens when you import it.

Wow, that's a pretty quick game.

Anyway, I imagine you are talking about the final Saren fight on the Citadel, right? There aren't any manual save points here, so the best you can do is find the last autosave, which is probably right where you are - even though there's no real reason to play this again, unless perhaps you want to change your decision between Udina and Anderson for the council.

And yes, you can do a New Game + of any completed ME1 game by going to the main menu and starting a new game/career. You will see the option to use existing ID, or you could just start a brand new one if you wanted.

When you do a NG+ in ME1 (i.e. importing a ME1 game in ME1) you will start from the beginning of the story again, but you will be starting at whatver level you where when you finished the game before. You will also have almost all your inventory except armory licenses (I forget about grenade and medigel upgrades), so go around and get those back again. You'll be the same class, have the same background, look and everything as your previous game.

Cool even the same armor and weapons? But yeah, just focus on the main missions like Feros, Virmire, and Noveria and you'll get things done quickly, I'm not going back to vote for Udina, he sounds like an ****.

Haha - Yeah, I dunno why anyone would vote or Udina - even a pure Renegade.

Yuppers - You keep all your armor, weapons and upgrades - except i don't remember if you get your medigel and grenade capacity upgrades, so you may have to get those again along with the licenses. Also, if you equipped your crew with anything in the first game, that will be gone.

This is why doing Insanity as a NG+ is so much easier in ME1 than ME2.

Well I won't plan on doing an Insanity playthrough on ME1 like I did with ME2 because it seems more complicated. How many more playthroughs as a level 37 should it take to reach level 60? Also I just remembered, you unlocked the Geth Armory at level 36, does that mean I'll still be able to buy the geth license and still have the same amount of money I had?

Anyone going to answer this? How many more playthroughs should it take to reacj level 60 as a level 37 soldier? Do you still keep the money you had?

You should have your weapons, armour, and credits on a second playthrough of the same character. I'm pretty sure you have to buy all the licenses again, but that doesn't prevent Geth Armoury dropping as loot.

As for reaching level 60... I'm not entirely sure. The experience needed to increase to the next level doubles with each level. If I did a very thorough initial playthrough, I could easily make it past level 50, but I believe the experience needed to get from 50 to 60 is more than all the experience you gathered just to get to 50.

So from level 37, you'll need every sidequest. If you have both DLC, that should help quite a bit. And then you might need to get out of the Mako to take out some enemies on foot, as that gives you much more experience than if you had shot them with the Mako's gun.

What if you just keep doing the main missions and DLC missions? I can get those done quickly.

It's gonna take more than a second playthrough then.

Fair enough, I'll just do the assignments for the characters.

Aside from the amount of XP needed, which kind of grows exponentially, it depends on what achievements you've gotten for in-game bonuses, some of which grant an XP boost - namely: Completionist gives you 5% XP boost, Power Gamer (reaching level 50) gives you another 10% XP boost, and Extreme Gamer (reaching level 60) gives you another 5% XP boost, even though at that point you probably wouldn't need it any more unless you plan on doing multiple careers that hit level 60 for ME2 imports and such.

There are also some very tedious XP glitches you can use, mainly the one on Therum, if you want to sit for a few hours continuosly saving and reloading.

On average, it takes people 2 or 3 playthroughs to hit level 60. Your first ever ME1 game is capped at 50. If you've unlocked the cap, then usually the most someone can hit in one game is between level 57-59 or so. It takes about 200,000 XP to go from level 59 to 60 (see the XP guide linked above). And you would really have to do everything in the game possible to hit the high 50s in one game. The assignment guide on ME wiki is pretty good for that. Link: http://masseffect.wi...iki/Assignments

You will keep your money in NG+ too I beleive, but as I said before, you have to buy all licenses again. Also, the money max is 999,999 - so at that point you might as well stock up on omni-gel ;)

Insanity for ME1 is actually very easy, especially if you are doing a NG+ as a soldier. The only reason it's complicated really is that there is so much more you could possibly do to gain more XP. They simplified ME2 WAY down, but ME2 Insanity is much harder - it's a little better if you do a new low level career. ME1 can just be time consuming if you really want to get a lot of XP and higher levels. Alternately, you could do 2 more NG+ on top of your original game (3 games total), likely hit level 60 by the beginning of the 3rd game, knock out your Insanity chievo, and if you are doing all of them quick like your first one, you might get less repetition in the side missions. Just be aware that if you're trying to get the level 60 for a ME2 import, you have to actually finish that game, and be mindful of the story decisions you make in that game too, since that will be the one that counts - not the games you played before it.

My guess is you're itching to import your game to ME2 right now though, which is totally understandable. I played ME1 a long time ago, and since ME2 came out, I played that, then went back to ME1 again, and have been going back and forth between the two. It's pretty awesome actually. I just started a new ME1 Adept and have been playing around with that. Might glitch it so I can make it a level 60 import for ME2. We'll see.

Wait, if I import my ME1 character would that mean I would be able to change the class from Soldier to Vanguard or Adept?

Yes, you can change your class from ME1 to ME2, so there's no need to use the same class in both games.
