Best? I don't know. But as far as most lethal, Reave will offer consistently-high damage (it also temporarily disables unprotected organics).

Reave is a very potent biotic power. I've also seen videos where Singularity strips the shields of enemies within its range. Throw can insta-kill things that are being affected by Pull. Warp can detonate opponents being affected by biotics (like Slam or Pull) for massive damage.

Playing on the 360 with an Adept in BD Armor and lvl 5 Biotic Upgrades, I have yet to see a Wide Singularity strip shields, damage yes, but completely strip the shield off? Never, for once, I would like to see the 360 players with capture cards play the damn game, just so I can see the difference from Console/PC game, or that I'm going crazy.

But don't listen to me, the second poster's tips were spot on.

You're right, maybe it doesn't rip the shields off like Overload...but it stills does a somewhat significant amount of damage.

Ahem, I may be slightly biased towards certain classes, but I believe the best biotic ability is CHARGE!!!!111!!
Charge is definitely the funnest to watch. Sadly, it is not avaliable for Adept, and my primary file is a Soldier. This explains my lack of Biotic knowledge.

Neural Shock temporarily disables unprotected organic enemies. So yes, I'm afraid you made a mistake. Unless you're playing on Veteran difficulty or below. Then Neural Shock at least has its uses. Don't worry though, you can simply use the "Advanced Training" upgrade in the lab to change your bonus power.RenownedRyan wrote...
Does Neural Shock even actually do anything? It seemed like such a dangerous name, but I think it actually just stuns enemies. I was choosing between that and Reave. I clearly made the wrong decision.

As to what power you are wanting to take, may I ask a couple of questions? Well, I will anyway.
Firstly, do you care about the lore? In other words, do you mind your biotic adept having a tech or comabt ability?
Secondly, which difficulty are you planning on playing on? It affects the viability of many bonus powers if you plan to play on hardcore/insanity because of protection.

Hence what I'm talking about, even Gats commenting on him not understanding this out of the blue. Albeit, it's not as significant as you described it, but his did a little more than mine did on the usual standby. Regardless, it's moot.

I'm sorry if I exaggerated. The point was that Singularity should not be ignored simply because the enemy has a few points of shielding left on them.incinerator950 wrote...

Oh **** no, Singularity is the tomatoes in the salad, next to Warp being the Lettace.
