Ether allow an addition of a twitter account to the profile page, or better yet allow the user updates to be taken from their twitter account. That way you are in more sync with larger social networks.

I would also recommend that the sync would be both ways. So if I update my status here it would update on twitter and vice-versa.

Good suggestion, and you can already share your player character updates from this to Twitter/Facebook....so it shouldn't be that hard. Perhaps it's just the beta nature of the network?
