@ghostmessiah202:

you'll need to move the talktable over to your module as well, and rename it appropriately.

Find the talktable (data\\talktables\\core_ep1_en-us.tlk). Cut and paste this to module\\override\\toolsetexport\\, and rename it to the name of your module. (For example, mine is aw2origins_en-us.tlk, where aw2origins is the name of my module's folder in AddIns).

@Bofra:

Any items that are normally lootable in Awakenings are added. In fact, occasionally you can find vendors selling White Steel heavy chainmail and so forth. IDK about the rune crafting, you don't find any blank rune slates or special recipes in loot I think? So if you wanted to get those, you'd have to add them by hand.

My script just had something like this in the event handling part:

event ev = GetCurrentEvent();

switch ( GetEventType(ev)

{

[ event handling... ]

case EVENT_TYPE_CHARGEN_END:

object oHero = GetHero();

RewardXP(oHero, RW_GetXPNeededForLevel(12), FALSE, FALSE);

break;

}

So, I've imported a character into Awakenings who had the awakening skills in origins. They pass over, but you'll want to disable the Awakening-skills-in-origins mod once you've loaded it up, because it will mess up the Codex and give you a fourth specialization point if you're over level 23.

A fourth point doesn't sound too bad--you can always ignore it. :happy:

On another note, four months later, is there any problem with doing this?

Also: why bother with elaborate scripts when you can just use the Console's "addxp" code?

Finally, will this add trade skill abilities (e.g., Stamina Draughts) or just regular combat abilities?

Proph2525 you rock!!!
Copying the core_ep1 folder has just expanded my game without too much power because of the level caps. Thanks!
