If you are outraged, feel cheated over DA:A then do more than just post here in the forums. Do as I did and e-mail Bioware. It will be harder for them to disreguard so many e-mails as they can with the forums.
Are you OUTRAGED about DA:A?

What would I be outraged about?

I'm not outraged, I am pleasantly surprised. Apparently my calls for turning every game into Suikoden has not gone unnoticed, kudos Bioware++
My personal opinions regarding the storyline have changed a little, I feel that Awakenings should force you to make a new character and only have passing references to the canon events of Origins (Amarinthine belongs to Grey Wardens, Archdemon defeated). It was a bit buggy and it ended abruptly, but I had a good time.

Now where is Udina when you need him?

Nope! Not outraged at all. Sure, the game has room for improvement. Tell me what game that doesn't. But I think that it serves its purpose: giving us the candy we need to keep us interested, and generating revenues to further back new development. Despite a few shortcomings, Bioware has done a great job keeping me interested. So, in short, I won't be sending Bioware any nastygrams just yet. Sorry.

I definitely feel cheated. Half the side quests didnt work, and 80% of the ones that I could physically do didnt give me a turn in reward, xp, or update, and it felt like after an incredibly immersive beginning as far as choices and quests, and story, they just went
'wow this is way too much work, lets throw in a final boss fight and call it a day'....
'what about the end story cut scene' ...
'Dont worry we'll get Ted to make a slideshow.'
If $50 a copy makes an entire game from scratch, with many LARGE cities and areas, $40 a copy should damn well give you more than a keep, a 'city' the size of the denerim market district, and one evenings play time.

Yeah I wish they'd just cut out the epilogues. I don't feel they add anything to the experience because they can and should be contridicted later, Bioware should allow some creative freedom of there staff instead of saying "Well so and so died SPOILER HERE" if you didn't choose to burn down SPOILER HERE. They should have you go back to SPOILER and see the aftermath for yourself. Would have had more impact. Instead so and so disappears, oh no, someone was with you decided to heed the calling for no real reason. Yarr.

I'm slightly annoyed by the lovely freezing my game seems to have, but other than that I find the game fun

E-mails aren't exactly hard to ignore, if you are unhappy with their products, stop buying them. That for sure, will get their attention.

I'm having a pretty good time with Awakening. I guess since I didn't really have any lofty expectations going in, the content they provided seems pretty good to me. Still have yet to finish it though.

for an EXPANSION and not a sequel, this was a decent addition to the story of my warden.
now as for the price of this expansion.....that's a different story

Nope I'm not...I was a bit "concerned" about the Ultimate Sacrifice ending..and lack of continuity....but seeing as they chose not to respond to our 40 page thread for 19 days...I gather things like that are not any kind of important to them.
And spamming them with e-mails..will just get you ignored or worse. Far as I can tell.
Its a game expansion, yes they could have fleshed it out more, no they probably didn't have the time, or budget to do that.....so it is what it is.
I've encountered a couple or three bugs, but being that I have been playing games online for.. hmm..many years now, I have YET to see a game that doesn't have a few bugs. And I have yet to see a game that patches those bugs, and doesn't create new ones.
So...par for the course.

And if you "really" have complaints..I suggest you redirect those e-mails to EA..the corporate "boss"...they handle the purse strings.....

Send spam emails? That's it? And here I was hoping that the OP was planing a devilish scheme that would make Bioware pay for making him outraged.

I'm about 7 hours into Awakening and I'm loving it. The only faults are that stealing doesn't work anymore (that might be because of the 1.03 patch) and how easy the battles are. Other than that I feel they did a solid job with the expansion.
I am very curious why are you outraged. Please explain.

I'm not outraged at all. Granted there were a few aspects about the game I disliked, but overall it was more Dragon Age and I was happy with that.

We can talk many hours about DA: O & A about their advantages, my own opinion is DA:O there was a good story, romances, great talk options with companions and uniqe zones but in DA:A isn´t work romance and talk with companions is poor(this is i think main problem), but there i love new zones and quest are fine like in Origins.
I think there is too good work on items, we can see more items with great scale of skins and their profits when we compare DA:A and DA:O .
For Example
I hate Fade in Origins, that is loooong path in dream with lyrium and some deamons but in Awakening they made good work with fade in Black Marsh.
But i am dissapointed from Ogren´s comeback to Awakening
someone from DA ˇcreative directorˇ talk about Ogren´s late acces to story in Origins but that is not right
.
I think so on boss fights, when i compare boss fights in Origins and Awakening i can talk about two great and dificult boss fights in Origins, (mean Witherfang and fight for Anvil of the Void, maybe Archdeamon when u choice plan for charge to fort Drakon ) but in Awakening u have many good boss fights, we can talk about maybe 1-2 poor boss fights.

I'm a little disappointed that I paid $50 for it...
I know it was an expansion, but the ending wasn't really enough.
And it was so glitchy. I had to keep restarting battles because darkspawn would stop moving and not be killable, and it kept freezing.
The game was okay, at best. I was hoping it would be more similar to DA:O.

My only gripe is that the game lacks emotion to certain events. Like the ending, and the Joining.
