I put the Loghain's cameo in french on YouTube, hoping someone will put it in it's original version.I'd LOVE to see it in english.
Sorry about the quality, I didn't know how to record it so I just recorded it with my camera.
Well, it's in french because I'm french sorry...Anyway, it's a very good french, a bit old-fashioned, like you know ,movies about medieval times...
here is my link:

I like his French VA, thanks for putting it up. Though as someone earlier said, it's funny that the only version of Loghain we have atm is the French one!

I thought of that too.

See, the game doesn't account for Warden Alistair (not even a mention), which I imagine happens a fair bit more than Warden Loghain. If you don't make him king, or execute him, or exile him or feed him to the Archdemon, Alistair defaults to rebuilding the Wardens, but Awakening ignores him completely until the epilogue (and he only shows up if he's your PC's LI). He doesn't even have a missing letter like Leliana and Zevran.

Wow.  Even though I'm firmly Team Loghain, that's incredibly disappointing.  Ordinarily, I'd assume that there were just too many variables for his Origins ending.  But Loghain's inclusion kind of blows that theory out of the water.  I mean, even out of the smaller number of players who spared him, I'm assuming an even smaller number had him survive the Archdemon.

So, I'm really curious as to why Warden Alistair gets the shaft.  And I'm not even a huge fan.  Posted Image

And it's not like they didn't have Steve Valentine in to do VO work, unless they just didn't want to pony up the cash for another cutscene. Even then they could have someone mention the poor guy.

A lot of epilogues say he's called to the Grey Warden headquarters at some point. Maybe that's where he is and the PC is already aware of that and that's why they're rebuilding and not him.

That's in the endings where he's king. It is possible that's where he's at, but it's never mentioned in the epilogues where he's "just" a Warden.

The only thing I can think of is that they really did just go with the US epilogue-endings for your companions, in which case he goes back to the Wardens but leaves again after a bit and disappears (unless he's the PC LI, in which case they reunite at the end of Awakening). Since Leliana and Zevran both seem to have followed their US epilogues rather than anything you get with them when your romance them, it makes some sense for Warden Alistair to be the same.

Loghain stays with the Wardens until his Calling.
