Good day to you, fellow dwarves, humans and such.
I have a quick question before I continue the journey of my newest character.
So, in Ostagar, we can find the lost sword our fuzzy-bearded mentor. I am aware that the item's level and therefore it's material varies.
And here comes the question: On which level shall I go there in order to have a sword made from a material _above_ red steel?

the lowest it can be is red steel itll never be just steel, veridium, or iron, i usually prefer to wait till around level 14 or 15 so i can at least make sure its silverite by the time i pick it up.

Sell it to a shop without any runes in it when you're a higher level, then leave the area or save and reload and it should be in stock as a higher material.
It works for Ageless too, it gives Ageless 2 slots, though you need to save to a new file then load that.

There are several merchants that will do the upgrade, the fastest is the smith at Warden's Keep.
You sell an item to him, close the window, then talk again and go to the buyback tab and viola! 9/10 times it is dragonbone. If not, close and reopen a few times. All of the DLC weapons/armor (well not all but most) can be upped to max tier this way.

Ageless for me had 2 slots. Simply they were not dispalyed onscreen. When i went to put runes in my weapons, ageless had 2 slots in the rune selection screen. I put 2 runes and when i got back the sword properly displayed 2 slots.

Guys I need help I tried Selling the sword and dagger to Levi's brother and check over and over and nothing happens i have the PC version and Currently level 19 what do I do
