It seems you cannot unlock Reaver if Lil is in your party.... unless you kill her.  

Luckily for me, I do have an old save lying around... so I could reload that, leave her at camp before I go inside the Temple, and maybe when I get back, she wont bail?

Does anyone know?

Only asking because theres a fair bit of work involved, plus the pain of trying to slog through stuff with a lower level hero.

Oh, well, good news for anyone wondering.

I also seemed to have a save right after I talked to Kolgraim AND once you enter the mountain top for the first time you can swap party memebers, so I don't have to restart that far back after all... still remains to be seen what will happen after the fact when I return to camp.

Hopefully she'll just throw a fit like Alistar did when I killed the kid, but still stuck around, and that will be that.

Shame you can't fast travel to camp though, I have a 90 slot backpack and its been full for awhile, lol.

Well, it worked. Though it might not if your persuade skill is low.

If she stands between you and power Krom, then you have to do what you have to do

If you want to keep Lil save your game before you dump the blood in the urn, talk to Krom to unlock Reaver and then load your previous save. Reaver will be unlocked and you can still take the "good" option.

When I hit that spot, I had Leliana and Wynne in my party. The cool thing is, their dialogue presence convinced my PC what decision to make.
