Nope. Anders, Velanna and (I think) Justice will show "Love" after you do their personal quest, but besides some harmless flirting with Anders there's nothing happening between the PC and their companions in Awakening.

Alas. I wish you could romance Nathaniel or Anders. If a toolset ever comes out that I can actually use, I'm considering modding romances for both of them.

Old romances will show up in the epilogue cards, though. So at least you won't completely miss out.

..I hated the flirting between Velanna and Nathaniel. But then, I'm a jealous fangirl.

A lot of players don't like interparty relationships. Unless the relationship is a pre-established thing, like Jaheira and Khalid from BG. When they form a romance during the course of the game, and you're unable to form one yourself with any of the characters, fans get very upset. I definitely would.

There has only been one case where I actually liked a romance between two party members. They were modded in characters for Icewind Dale. The first game. And I only liked it because it was cute, and there were other characters for the PC to romance.

Totally lame! I wanted to spark something up with Nathaniel. After Alistair dumped me in the first one, I totally wanted to have revenge nookie. But alas, I'd burned my romantic bridges with Leliana and Zevran. Now in awakening I get totally shafted... or wait, I guess I don't.
