This last week we have been glued to the forums to see what bugs are showing since the release. I can say that are certainly looking at issues that are being reported and doing what we can to triage them. Keep reporting issues folks, we want to keep this game all types of awesome.

You may also read the above to say: "thanks for doing free beta testing for a game we had to publish, based on EA timeline, and not whether the game was finished and ready to go 'gold'...suckers!!!"

I'm still wondering why the representitive for bioware has not supplied a timescale for the patch. (This would abate the fans slightly)

Technically this game is faulty (theres probably a legal implication there aswell).  However due to the no refunds policy on XBL i cannot take it back as it were.

Being a Bioware customer since Baldurs Gate i expected better!

Got some credit for mine exchanging it in. Will pick this up at a later date if patched successfully. Got to tell you, Bioware's stock with me has taken quite a hit.

What you can do, though, is to contact a lawyer or solicitor and see if there any legal remedies with regards to the sheer volume of problems in the product. It's not like there aren't likely to be enough people who bought this thing to constitute a class, after all....

I wouldn't necessarily do this myself, but I have a suspicion that it would take something of this magnitude to get these companies to start providing adequate - what's that phrase again? Oh, yes, Customer Service. The fact that they can always patch it via title update sometime in the nebulous never is hardly an incentive to get it right the first time.

at least give some status on the patch, a estimation in how long  it will take to release it....at this point it feels like you guys don't care at all

I really want to re-play Awakening with another of my PC's but the bugs are simply too much.I sincerely hope Console players aren't going to be left out if a patch if released.

I'm definitely thinking of trading my copy in because I have little desire to replay it again with the number of bugs I encountered.  This has left a bad taste in my mouth against Bioware and I will be thinking twice before paying out $40.00 for any new add ons for DA or ME games.  Image IPB

Sadly I'm beginning to think a patch will be too little too late, some good games coming out in the next few months and I think a lot of people will just lose interest in this game without a patch. I'm really hoping to get some sort of timeline for a patch to come out, because I'm getting close to just trading this in to put towards a different game. Been waiting over four months for a patch and honestly I'm getting tired of it, there's no reason that we shouldn't at least have patches from over three months ago, doing that would at least relieve some of the tension people have about actually getting some fixes for this game I think.

it's too bad, really: DA:O was such a great game despite its flaws, and then expansion just sucked. game breaking bugs (there's not keeping going when you lose 400g worth of equipment, including many best-in-slot items, in the silverite mine) and far, far too easy.
