I would like to see the next patch fix more than it breaks, unlike 1.3.

There are a lot of things I'd like to see fixed:
- Slow loading times (no this patch didn't actually fix it)
- Dex bug
- Origins epilogue bugs
- Stealing since it's now broken
- Dog finding an item but no item is actually added to inventory
- Awakenings achievements have no text
- Turning in more than one quest at a time to the chanters results in lowered reward
- In Awakening, putting a statue on an alter doesn't actually open a trap door like it says it does (intentionally vague because of no spoiler section)
- Combat occasionally causes crashes (never happened to me in hundreds of hours of playing until I was forced to accept 1.03 to play Awakening
- In Origins, talking to companions at the gates during final battle can sometimes drop character through the ground so they're just floating in red nothingness
- Oghren gifts in Awakening start at +6 no matter which I give first
- Frame rates lag during combat (not sure if this is related to the patch or to Awakening since I got both at the same time)

I can think of a few problems that should be fixed:
1) Ancient Elven Boots not spawning in the Lothering cabinet on the PC version.
2) Fang, the dagger Cyrion Tabris rewards City Elf Wardens with when they save the elven slaves, is stuck at Veridium on the PC version, with terrible stats. Compare this to the console version of Fang, which scales all the way to Dragonbone, at which point it is the best dagger in the game. Also consider that the dagger which Wardens of all other origins get as a reward for that quest, "Gift of the Grey", is a Silverite dagger, making it superior to the special reward open only to the City Elves... it makes no sense.

Some I can think of off the top of my head:
1. Attack speed should be capped not reset, archers should be able to use haste and swift salve as intended instead of actually having it slow them down.
2. Dex fix and boost to the archery skills in general.
3. Improve combat AI so that characters don't stop fighting frequently in battle (still happens).
4. Board quests, receive full rewards when turning in multiple quests at the same time.
5. Ranger summons to zone OR have cooldown reset to 0 after zoning.
6. Fix various bugs introduced in 1.03, like stealing.

several of the things ^ they've said, so basically, more or less everything that's F-ed up. I'm noticing that 3 or 4 bugs, at least, have been out since release. hey Bioware, please fix that before going on to more expansions / sequels / DLC etc.

There's tons of bugs that need fixing, but I doubt Bioware have the time to do it. Things like the "Of Noble Birth" quest bug where no matter your race, class or gender you end up with illegitimate Dwarven children without a caste after you finish Paragon of Her Kind.
Whilst it breaks immersion and makes for odd continuity within the game, it doesn't actually -break- the game and therefore it probably isn't a high priority (or even a priority at all) to fix it.
I hate to say it, but these are the kinds of things that are going to be fixed with unofficial patches, mods and add-ons.

Sorry to the OP but that's SUCH a crass question. Pretty obviously I imagine the vast majority of people here would like to see it fix the stuff that the previous patch broke, at the very least!

As Gliese said:
5. Ranger summons to zone OR have cooldown reset to 0 after zoning.
Also that your pet doesn't disappear randomly or when you go from room to room within a zone. And a taunt-type spell would be icing on the cake, but nice icing!

Since I mostly play as a rouge, being able to pick pockets again would be nice.

Fixing the memory leak should be top priority. The game is unplayable for me.

Yes it does. It opens a 'secret compartment' not a trap door, and it's on the very altar you're speaking of. Click the altar for your prize.jennamarae wrote...

The memory leak should be top priority. It would likely fix many complaints about various other things.
(jokingly) I'd like to be reminded constantly that "Rouge" is a red color and that "Rogue" is class profession.. as frequently as I am reminded to stay focused on the blight and not the romances.

How about this in terms of graphics
1. Re-size the hands on all the characters so that their hands aren't as big as their face
2. Re-size the size of the weapons, (seriously, they're way too big, especially the two handed weapons they carry on their back, they'll trip over in seconds!)
3. Add better looking mage gear, from the robes to the hood (please, can we for once have mages wearing normal pants instead of skirt looking robes? please? e.g the adventures robe from NVM would be a good example of a good gear mage can wear without being mistaken for a crossdresser), and espeically the staff (make it look more than a rotten tree branch with a sharpe end)
4. Hmmm, I think that's it
Overall the graphics on Dragon Age is the best I've seen on a RPG, well done BioWare!
Best regards
John

I think all the major bugs were already mentioned, so here's the only thing I can think of:
Allow Shale to have an alternate weapon set like every other character. It's a minor pet peeve, but whenever I'm facing an enemy that's immune to the type of damage that Shale's dealing, I have to open up my inventory and find a more suitable small crystal for that particular situation.

Finally other people lists the bugs that have been annoying me for a long time... I'll add to that:
1) Ceremonial Gloves are not in the game, please put them in.... I wanna complete this set cause it's pretty. At least someone reported for Ancient Elven Boots in a previous post...
2) Quests markers or journal entry that don't disappear:
-Urn of sacred ashes quest marker on the tavern owner of the spoiled princess doesn't go away, and that's even if you did the quest without talking to him.
-Slim in Denerim market, quest marker doesn't disappear after quest line is done
-Orzammar main quest for the first task. If you do too much of each 'side', it used to block your progression due to a bug. Now it works, but a journal entry remains in the journal for Bhelen's first task.
Whenever you guys release a decent patch fixing what the people in this thread posted, I'll buy Awakening, I promise.

2) Enable muti quick bars -- I am always running out of room on them even on a high res monitor.
